SNORKIT HN500: ATriangle ATV Product
The Snorkit offers a simple, researched and tested alternative to the problems involved with developing a snorkel system for your ATV. We have designed a system which is clean, easily installed, and requires no rejetting on the Honda Foreman 500S/ES (while using the stock exhaust and air filter). The Snorkit riser pipe attaches firmly to the rack and gives a factory appearance. The height of the snorkel can be easily modified to fit various needs.
The system does require cutting a hole in the front plastic and some minor trimming of the inner right fender well.
SNORKIT Features
Simple installation--Simple step-by-step instructions with illustrations and pictures are included for a clean easy installation. Installation time can be accomplished in one hour with minimal tools and expertise required.
Removable/Adjustable riser pipe--The riser pipe can easily be removed or replaced by screwing another riser pipe in its place. Additional riser pipes can be easily constructed or ordered from Triangle ATV. A rigid 14" riser is supplied with the kit. Flexible risers can be constructed of flexible PVC. Short risers can be used when additional rack space is desired or there is no need for the additional height. If struck, the rigid riser pipe is designed to break off at the mounting bracket without damaging the ATV or affecting engine performance.
No modifications to air box--The Snorkit inlet pipe is designed to fit into the stock airbox using the factory clamp and rubber fitting. Simply remove the stock snorkel and install the Snorkit.
Brake/Differential/Fan venting-The Snorkit provides all fittings and tubing required for the snorkeling of all brake, differential, and cooling fan vents.
Low point drain valve-The Snorkit incorporates a low point drain (petcock) to allow draining should any water enter the system. (most snorkel systems require tilting the ATV or disconnecting lines to achieve draining)
